CHASE PI Professor Sharon Hammes-Schiffer was named 2021 Sterling Professor of Chemistry. The Sterling Professorship is awarded to a tenured Yale faculty member considered one of the best in his or her field and is one of the Yale University’s highest faculty honors. Sharon is recognized for her leadership in the field of theoretical chemistry as well as her groundbreaking work on chemical and biological reactions. Congratulations!
